Vigan City, Ilocos Sur

i have always wanted to visit Vigan / Ilocos. I was asked to join 3 different group of friends to join them in the tour. Unfortunately, our schedules didn’t meet..

Little did I know we will be having our honeymoon in Ilocos. Yipee..

But then, during those times, I never thought i would ever blog. We used my husband’s mobile then. So i only have few pictures. (will probably update this blog and add more pictures soon)

We stayed in Ciudad Fernandina for 4 days and 3 nights; I love the modern style of the hotel. We stayed at the annex which is just 10 steps i guess away from the main building. I love how great the paintings are. I love almost everything about the hotel. The bed, the room (although it’s a little small), the breakfast is free at St. Martha’s Cafe, love the hotel’s interior.

The only quite disappoint me was there is no wifi in our room (wifi works well in common areas, lucky for you if you will be staying somewhere near the said areas)

The hotel is just a few minutes walk away the calle crisologo. Went to Bantay Church,  Baluarte, Crisologo, the best tourist spot for me there perhaps is the Syquia Mansion of Quirino.

I love the dancing fountain, churches, and the ohh so yummy bagnet!! i can’t get enough the place.

After few days, we went to Laoag, Ilocos Norte, (NO PICTURES OF ISABELA SUITES!)

We stayed at Isabela Suites and chose the Junior Suite, this hotel didn’t have elevator. Didn’t like the breakfast served, 1 packet of Milo and hot water , 1 cup of rice, 1 fried egg and 3 slices of embutido (no options) . nevertheless, we enjoyed the tour we went to Paoay Church, Sand Dunes 4×4 and sand boarding 😀 , Malacañang of the North, Lighthouse, PAtapat, Bangui windmills, kapurpurawan and Pagudpod 🙂

It’s just that it could be a little better to sleep after a long day outside in a relaxing room and bed

If given the chance i would love to go back to Vigan and Laoag (though will surely look for another hotel in Laoag 🙂
